  27. This is a brief pointer to where one can find the latest South
  28. Scanner Satellite Services Chart version 2 number 6 (dated
  29. July 4, 1993).

  31. The South Scanner Satellite Services Chart is a listing of the
  32. North American television satellites with the audio and video
  33. services that a home dish owner can receive from them.  The chart
  34. is free to use and may be distributed to other places following
  35. the "no-nonsense" distribution policy found in the chart.  Also
  36. included are Atlantic and Pacific satellites that some people in
  37. North America can receive.  It is distributed monthly around the
  38. beginning of the month to make sure the information is as current
  39. as can be.

  41. The chart can be found in the rec.video.satellite newsgroup (or
  42. the HOMESAT mailing list) on the date of release.

  44. It can also be found on the Simtel20 archives (or mirrors).
  45. Check the /msdos/satellite directory for it.  The file name is
  46. SSV2N6.ZIP.

  49. directly for it.  In return, you will get a UUENCODED, ZIPped
  50. chart.

  52. The .ZIP file used with the South Scanner chart is compatible
  53. with PKUNZIP v2.04g.  Unzip equivalents for other platforms
  54. should able to be easily found.
